Writing and photography have always been part of my life.

Over time, photography prevailed over writing. I rediscovered it when I entered the digital world. Still, I never abandoned my old film camera.

Where once I tried to transform my experiences into words, now I try to express myself with images. I suppose it is less risky than revealing myself on a white sheet of paper, but nonetheless engaging.

From all this, as my photoblog (now here) emerged and eventually lead this site.

It's not my intention to convey a message with my photos. I simply let myself go after momentary fascinations - a shadow, a certain color, lines and volume patterns, the light and the depth of a landscape. I take pictures instinctively.

Scrittura e fotografia hanno da sempre fatto parte della mia vita, anche se da un po' di tempo mi sono allontanata - disamorata? - dalla parola scritta.

La fotografia ha così preso il sopravvento. L'ho riscoperta. Ho scoperto il digitale, senza mai abbandonare la mia vecchia reflex analogica.

Ciò che prima sentivo e trasformavo in parole, ora cerco di coglierlo con le immagini. Certamente meno rischioso del mettersi a nudo su un foglio bianco, ma altrettanto coinvolgente.

Così sono nati dapprima il photoblog (ora qui), e poi questo sito.

Fotografo istintivamente. Non voglio trasmettere messaggi con le mie fotografie. Mi lascio semplicemente andare a sollecitazioni e fascinazioni momentanee - un' ombra, un colore, linee e giochi di volumi, la luce e la profondità di un paesaggio.
